Janet Grace Bauer

Janet Grace Bauer 73, of Holgate, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Her Legacy… She was born March 16, 1939 in Holgate to William E. and Rosella (Knapp) Rosebrock. She graduated from Fremont High School in Fremont, IN. On April 24, 1960 she married Carlton Harold Bauer. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Holgate. Jan was a telephone operator and postal office clerk at Holgate, Wauseon and Napoleon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping out on the family farm.
Her Family… She is survived by her loving family: husband, Carlton; daughters, Rhonda (David) Huddle, Napoleon and Linda Sines, Hamler; son, Steven (Pam) Bauer, Holgate; grandchildren, Kathryn (Mike) Steveline, Michelle (Ben) Hahn, Rachel Huddle, Hannah Sines, Chad (Rachel) Hoyt, Jason (Tara) Hoyt and Danielle (Mark) Wachtman; great grandchildren, Cain Hoyt, Jacob Hoyt and Olivia Wachtman; sisters, Roberta Stroh and Constance "Connie" (Dean) Cappel; and a brother, William Kenneth Rosebrock.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, Holgate on Friday from 2-5 and 6-9 pm and again 1 hour before the church service. The Celebration of Jan's life will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 am in St. John Lutheran Church, Holgate with Reverend Theodore Rellstab officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatrock Township Cemetery in Florida. Contributions can be made in Jan's memory to St. John Lutheran Church or James Cancer Research Unit on the Campus of OSU.
