Jonathan Bernard Snowden age 49, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in his Defiance home.
He was born September 9, 1966 to Bernard and Mary (Tidwell) Snowden in Bowling Green, OH. Jon was able to obtain his GED and attend some classes at Northwest State Community College. He had been employed as a truck driver in Texas.
Jon is survived by his mother Mary Baerlin and step father David Baerlin of Holgate, his children David Carpenter, Rachel Snowden, and Crystal Snowden, all of Austin, TX; some grandchildren; a brother Jeff (Yvonne) Oehler, Napoleon and a step sister Pamela Bolen, TN.
His Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate from 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 22 with a 2:00 pm memorial service. Contributions made in Jon’s name can be made to the Recovery Center of Northwest Ohio or to the family, to decide at a later date.
