Lawrence E. Niese

Ceredo, WV  -   Lawrence E. Niese (Formerly of Miller City, OH), 62, passed away February 26, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.   He was born in Lima, OH on April 1, 1960 to the late William and Mildred (Langhals) Niese. Lawrence was a 1979 graduate of Miller City High School.

Lawrence is survived by five sisters, Joan M. Niese, Waterville, OH, Angela L.(Kevin Champagne) Niese and Barbara P. (Randy Runyan) Niese-Runyan of Defiance, Marie M. Cass, Glandorf, Carol C. (Donald) Schroeder, New Bavaria.  Surviving brothers are Alphonse S. Niese and Peter J. Niese of Miller City.  Lawrence is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel W. Niese.

Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Miller City with Reverend Scott Perry officiating
