Lynn A.L. Matthews age 59, of New Bavaria died Saturday afternoon, November 14, 2015 in his daughter’s home. Lynn was born August 24, 1956 to Charles Albert and Dorma Jean (Bland) Matthews.
He was formerly employed by Sims Manufacturing, Payne, OH. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his children: Stacy Matthews Hasch, New Bavaria, Brandy (Robert) Nagel, New Bavaria and Shelby Matthews, Bucyrus, Jesse Matthews, Bucyrus; grandsons, Tristen Dingus, Jordan Nagel, Caydin Matthews, Jeradt Nagel, James Hasch, Jr. and Zavier Nagel; siblings, Elvene (Justus) Holtsberry, Oakwood, OH, Gordon Matthews, Stergis, MI, John (Edna) Matthews, Bryan, OH, Ronald Matthews, Cecil, OH, Dana (Teresa) Matthews, Broughton, OH, Jerry Matthews, Cecil, OH, Jody Matthews, Payne, OH and a sister-in-law Peggy Matthews, Miller City, OH . He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Chucky Matthews Jr. and Lee Alan Leon Matthews; a sister, Wilda Justine Matthews and a sister-in-law, Beth Ann Matthews.
Friends will be welcomed into the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00 pm with Reverend Dale Kern officiating. Burial will be private in Hedges Cemetery, Paulding. Contributions can be made to the family to help with expenses.
