Marcele A. (Averesch) Faber

Marcele A. Faber age 86, of New Bavaria, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Meadows of Leipsic.

Her Legacy… She was born November 15, 1929 to Louis and Rosa (Duling) Averesch in Cloverdale.  On September 25, 1954 she married Eugene W. Faber and he died on November 13, 1983.  Marcele was a homemaker and a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria and its Rosary Altar Society and CLC.  She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary #8847.

Her Family… She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Linda (Al) Lapinski, Sylvania, Patty (Martin) Nezick, Defiance, Debbie (Tom) Stevens, New Bavaria and Theresa (Mike) Myles, Holgate; sons, James (Melissa) Faber, New Bavaria and Timothy (Sarah) Faber, Ottawa; 13 grandchildren, Michael Cameron, Michelle Ritchie, Hailey Brubaker, Hannah Stevens, Derek Faber, Sarah Faber, Alivia Faber, Chase Faber, Carson Faber, Will Faber, Addyson Faber, Orvil Myles and Alex Myles; 5 great grandchildren; Zac Ritchie, Alyssa Ritchie, Boston Brubaker, Jaxson Faber and Hudson Faber; siblings,: Vincent Averesch, Lima, Alphonse Averesch, Ottawa and Helen Meyer, Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by a son John and brothers Aloysius and Jerome Averesch.

Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Sunday from 2-8 pm and again on Monday from 9:30 am.  The Rosary will be said at 8:00 pm Sunday evening.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 23, 2015  in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria at 10:30 am with Father Nick Cunningham officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Contributions made in Marcele’s memory can be made to the Meadows of Leipsic, Hospice of Putnam County or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
