Marcine Cooper

Marcine Louise Cooper age 96, of Cecil, Ohio died Tuesday morning, August 14, 2018 at the Paulding County Hospital.

She was born October 1, 1921 to Fred and Edith Bauer in Holgate.  She married Robert L. Cooper in Angola, IN.  Marcine was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Christian Church, New Bavaria.  She loved the Buckeye’s, NASCAR and all Teresa’s friends from the Napoleon schools, neighbors, Defiance and Holgate.  The Farmers Elevator was great over the years with helping out.

She is survived by her children: Teresa “Eaton” (Richard) Ysasaga, Englewood, FL and Marion Slusser, Cecil; grandchildren: Lisa Rose, Van Wert Ohio, Donald Lewis Rapid City, South Dakota, Lynette Davis, Van Wert, OH. Sherry (Roger) Flint, Broughton Ohio, Michael (Tara) Bennett, Scott, OH. Mitchell (Michele) Bennett, Grover Hill, OH, Bernadette Bennett, Grover Hill, OH. Great Grandchildren: Nicole Cooper, Dustin Cooper, Spencer Davis, Lynzee Davis, Patrick Comer, Abbie Evans, Joshua Adkins, Zachery Adkins, Christopher Adkins, Derrick Bennett, Rebecca Bennett, Nathan Bennett, Cole Bennett, Becky Flint, Eric Flint, Sierra Cooper and Great Great Grandchildren: Zachery Adkins, Mitchell Bennett, Patrick Comer, Christopher Adkins, Joshua Adkins, Dustin Cooper, Michael Bennett, Nathan Bennett, and  her brothers, Bud Bauer and Richard Bauer; sisters, Mildred Hoffman and Helen Noll.  Marcine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and daughters, LaDonna Lewis and JoAnn Bennett.

Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Sunday from 4-7 pm and one hour before the church service.  The celebration of Marcine’s life will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in Emmanuel Christian Church, New Bavaria with Pastor Jody officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Marcine’s name can be made to the funeral home.
