Mary M. Schwab

Mary Schwab, age 88, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
Her Legacy… She was born on June 20, 1923. On June 20, 1942, she married Francis Schwab, and he preceded her in death in March 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Bavaria VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society.
Her family… She is survived by 5 daughters, Mary (Gary) Holma, San Diego, CA; Diane (Rick) Engel, Columbus, OH; Debby (Justo) Resendez, West Chester, OH; Pam Laskowski, Bluffton, IN; Dawn (Leo) Giesige, Archbold, OH; 2 sons, Randy (Vicki) Schwab, Napoleon, OH; and Jeff Schwab, New Bavaria, OH; daughter-in-law, Kathy Schwab; 27 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Westrick and Josephine Schroeder; a brother, Stan Krenek, and sons, Stan and Frank Schwab.
Her farewell Services… Friends and family will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home on Monday, August 8, 2011, from 4-8 pm. Also on Monday, the VFW Auxiliary will have a service at 6:00 pm, and the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria with Father George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Putnam County Hospice, or the Henry County Humane Society.
