Mary Elizabeth Spangler

Mary Elizabeth Spangler age 94, of Deshler died Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025 at the Defiance In-patient Hospice Center.

Her Legacy… She was born April 15, 1931 to Garland Chester and Pansey (Schnell) Huff in Toledo. She graduated from Springfield High School in Holland, Ohio. On March 6, 1951 she married Eldon E. Spangler. Mary was a homemaker and member of the Napoleon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Her Family… She is survived by her children: David (Teresa) Spangler, Napoleon, Kathleen (Mike) McGraw, Napoleon, Bonnie (Joe) McGraw, Deshler, and Timothy (Carrie) Spangler, Napoleon; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Eldon, parents, and a brother Richard Huff.

Her Farewell Services… There will be a memorial Service for Mary at the Napoleon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 1:30 pm.
