Patricia “Pat” Ann Brown, age 87, of Holgate, passed away on Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2024 at the Vancrest Healthcare Center in Holgate.
She was born on June 19, 1936, to John and Elizabeth (Bowsher) Steel in Defiance. Pat worked at former Triplet and retired from Holgate Local Schools in 2001. She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards, but most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her children, Greg (Darlene) of LaGrange, Kathy (Craig) Cullen of Napoleon, Sandy Brown, Terry (Bill) Leaders, Shelly Brown, and Linda (Tom) Bortz of Holgate and Lisa (Greg) Jones of Bowling Green. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Goodwin, Betty Spangler and Norma Ruen; brothers, Jim and John Steel; and great-grandson, Logan Cortez.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Zachrich Funeral Home Holgate, Ohio from 10:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Vancrest of Holgate.
