Preston Kyle Boundy
November 10, 2003 – November 2, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Preston Kyle Boundy, age 21, who left this world far too soon on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Archbold, Ohio.
Preston was born on November 10, 2003, in Defiance, Ohio, to Angela Boundy and Corey Clippinger. He spent his early childhood in Holgate, Ohio, before moving with his family to Napoleon, where he attended high school and made many lifelong friends.
From a young age, Preston showed a love for sports and teamwork. He played baseball and basketball in his younger years and went on to become a dedicated wrestler during high school. Outside of athletics, he found great joy in fitness — spending time at the gym, running, and pushing himself to be better every single day. For Preston, it wasn’t just about strength, but about discipline, the mindset it gave him, and self-improvement.
He also enjoyed time at the shooting range, family walks in his hometown, and being surrounded by those he loved most. Above all else, Preston cherished every moment with his beloved daughter, Hollie Jo, who was truly his heart, his reason, and his proudest accomplishment.
At the time of his passing, Preston was employed at Rupp Rosebrock. He was known for his heart that was bigger than life, his laughter that could light up any room, and a presence that made everyone around him feel seen and cared for. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
Preston is survived by his daughter, Hollie Jo Boundy, and fiancée Regan Ankney, both of Defiance; his mother, Angela Boundy, and sister, Kyndal Salinas, both of Napoleon; his father, Corey Clippinger of Alabama; and his best bud, Cooper Blu.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Brenda Boundy of Spring Hill, Florida, and Kent Boundy of Paulding, Ohio, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Holgate Community Church, in Holgate, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Diane Simon, with burial immediately following at Cromley Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio.
Pallbearers will be Jason Westhoven, Blake Westhoven, Darian Westhoven, Preston Speaks, Hayden Speaks, Ruben Santos IV, and Javone Torres. Clint Boundy will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Zachrich Family Funeral Home of Holgate to assist with expenses.
Preston touched countless hearts during his short time here, and his memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind in his daughter. Though his time with us was far too short, his light will shine forever in all who knew and loved him.
