Rosemary (Dickman) Motter
August 28, 1930 — November 3, 2014
Rosemary Motter age 84, of Ottawa and formerly Holgate, died Monday morning at the Meadows of Kalida.
Her Legacy… She was born August 28, 1930 to Herman and Mildred (Wolf) Dickman in Pleasant Township. On January 19, 1952 she married Kenneth E. Motter in the Florida United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of Emanuel’s Christian Church, New Bavaria, the Women’s Guild and Go Getters Sunday School. She also belonged to the William F. Helmke Auxiliary Post 340 and 16 years of Foreign Relations Chairman, Post 340. Rosemary enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her Family… She is survived by her daughter Deb (Ronald) Diemer, Ottawa, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Marilyn (Lester) Dickman Kruse, Napoleon.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Wednesday from 2-8 pm. The celebration of Rosemary’s life will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Emanuel’s Christian Church, New Bavaria with Reverends Jason Walls and Ed Briggeman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Township Cemetery on Rd. 16C. Memorial contributions made in Rosemary’s memory can be made to Emanuel’s Christian Church.
