Ruth M. Wolf age 100, of Holgate, died Saturday afternoon, May 30, 2015 at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Holgate.
Her Legacy… She was born July 21, 1914 to Elmer and Gertrude (Geiger) Williams in New Bavaria. Ruth graduated from Holgate High School in 1932. On June 27, 1936, she married Herold Wolf. He died on July 19, 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of Emanuel Christian Church, New Bavaria.
Her Family… She is survived by her son Wayne (Ila) Wolf, Holgate; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marlene Hasch and sisters, Hazel Colwell and Lavern Bailey.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street Holgate on Monday from 4-7 pm and again 1 hour before the church service. The Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11:00 am in Emanuel’s Christian Church, New Bavaria with Pastor Jason Walls officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions made in Ruth’s memory can be made to Emanuel’s Christian Church or Vancrest Healthcare Center.
