Sharon Lynn (Bellinger) Brinkman, age 66, of rural Napoleon, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Her Legacy… She was born April 9, 1947 to Charles and Alice (Lyle) Bellinger in Joliett, IL.  She graduated from Victor High School in Victor, NY.  In June of 1986,  she married Dale Brinkman who survives.  Sharon was a homemaker and was a member of Malinta United Methodist Church.  She was passionate about life; and this was evident through her love for her family, as well as  her love for gardening and caring for all kinds of animals.  She loved being home on the farm to spend time with her grandchildren, and nurture the plants, flowers, and animals around their home.  She also enjoyed sewing.  Sharon cherished spending time on the road  driving truck with her husband, and won several awards for her service during her driving career.

Her Family… She is survived by her loving husband, Dale; son, Matt (Gayle) Heer, Point Place, daughter, Kathy (Doug) Deutsch, Fairview Park, and son, Terry Heer, Rotunda, FL.; grandchildren, Andrew (Kim) Tolson, Ashley Heer, and Danielle and Aaron Deutsch; great grandchildren, Evan and Ella Tolson; and sisters, Diane (Lee) Bonin, Colorado Springs and Charlene Wade, Arizona.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her Farewell Services…A Celebration of Life  will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Malinta Fire Department, Malinta, OH  with Pastor Jeremiah Diegel officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow the celebration of Sharon’s life.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Sharon’s memory be made to the Henry County Humane Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kasunic and the entire staff of St. Luke's Hospital Oncology Clinic as well as Hospice of Henry County for all of their care and concern for Sharon and the amazing support they have given during her courageous battle.
