Thomas E. Miley

Thomas E. Miley age 86, of Holgate, died Friday, August 7, 2026 at Vancrest of Holgate. Tom was born October 17, 1939 to Henry and Mary (Vannoy) Miley in Continental. He graduated from Continental High School. On July 11, 1964, he married Mary Knapp.

He worked for Campbell's for 42 years retiring in 1999. After retirement he worked for Perez Foods in Holgate for several years and volunteered for the P.E.T project in Florida, Ohio. He was a member of the Holgate Lions Club for 35 years. He was a member of the Holgate Community Church. He was also a proud member of the NRA. He loved his cats, cars, tractors and politics. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary and son Curt. He will be greatly missed by his son Marc of Holgate, granddaughter Thera Miley (Parker) of Napoleon and great granddaughter Rowen.

Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home of Holgate on Tuesday from 9-11:00 am. The celebration of Tom's life will be at 11:00 am with Pastor Diane Simon officiating. Burial will follow in Hoy Cemetery, Napoleon. Memorial contribution's can be made to the Holgate Community Church
