Rebecca "Becky" (Wells) Bevins

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Bevins age 65, died Wednesday afternoon, April 27 at the Defiance Area In-patient Hospice Center.

Her Legacy… She was born October 27, 1956 to Victor M. and Frieda I. (Wirz) Wells in Defiance.  In 1974, she graduated from Defiance High School/Four County Career Center.  Just a month later, on April 12, 1974, she married Eddie Bevins.  She was a homemaker and attended the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Ayersville.  Becky was a life member of both the Defiance AMVETS Auxiliary post #1991 and the Defiance VFW Auxiliary post 3360.  She was also a member of the Defiance Moose Lodge #1246.

Her Family… Becky is survived by her daughter Kelly Lopez, Lima; grandchildren: Massiel, Lorenzo and Gabriel; sister, Janet Martin, Kieferville and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie on May 30, 2016 and a sister Victoria.  The family would like to make a special thank you to Kathy Diemer for her care and support, staying by her side day and night.

Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Sunday from 4-7:00 pm.  The celebration of Becky’s life will be in the funeral home on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in Ayersville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Napoleon Senior Center.
